This extended article analyzes mythopoetics as a conceptual and structural foundation of literary creativity. Special attention is given to interdisciplinary approaches from structuralism to cognitive poetics that view myth not only as a source of plots but as a universal mechanism of cultural modeling, a deep matrix of artistic consciousness. The study examines how myth is transformed within an author’s individual poetics, how archaic and modern narratives interact, and how mythological thinking is represented in diverse literary systems.
