WAYS TO IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF HANDLING APPEALS THROUGH THE INTRODUCTION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

Abstract

This article examines the legal, organizational, and practical aspects of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the system of handling appeals submitted by individuals and legal entities to prosecution bodies.

Based on the experience of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, the study explores the potential of AI for automated sorting, classification, analysis of appeals, and generating standard procedural documents. The article highlights key advantages of AI implementation, including increased efficiency, enhanced analytical capacity, transparency, and reduced workload on prosecutors.

At the same time, risks related to information security, protection of personal data, algorithmic bias, and the undefined legal status of AI-generated decisions are analyzed. The author proposes legal and organizational measures to improve the effective and safe integration of AI into prosecutorial activities.
