This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the role of digital resources and platforms in enhancing students’ independent learning competence. The digital learning environment is interpreted as a pedagogical mechanism that develops learners’ skills of self-regulation, metacognitive monitoring, reflection, independent information search, learning process planning, and self-assessment. The study classifies the functions of Learning Management Systems (LMS), mobile applications, language corpora, multimedia platforms, artificial intelligence tools, and online dictionaries, offering an in-depth scientific analysis of their impact on the development of independent learning competence.
