This study is devoted to exploring the ancient statehood traditions on the territory of Uzbekistan, as well as the formation, development, and historical significance of the Kokand Khanate. The research highlights the roots of national statehood through the examples of ancient states such as Bactria, Sogdiana, and Khorezm, and examines the influence of Soviet-era historical interpretations on the understanding of national history.
