This article analyzes the spiritual problems that arise among the urban population, their social and philosophical roots. The author reveals the impact of urbanization, individualism and globalization on the human psyche and the system of values in society. It is noted that urban life leads to a decrease in social ties between people, a weakening of self-interest, mutual respect and family values. The article discusses the need for family stability, preservation of national values and strengthening the spiritual environment in Uzbek society on a scientific basis. The author makes suggestions on the need to rely on religion, national traditions and human values to restore spiritual balance in urban life.
