This article presents a historical-concrete analysis of the life, political activity, and intellectual-spiritual legacy of the great statesman, poet, and thinker Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. The study highlights the multifaceted nature of Babur’s personality, as well as the significance of themes such as longing for the homeland, historical memory, and national identity in his literary work. The Baburnama is evaluated as an important historical, geographical, ethnographic, and cultural source, and Babur’s legacy in the global scientific discourse is thoroughly examined.
