Abstract

This article examines the challenges and opportunities of improving logistics management in entrepreneurial activities operating within the framework of international trade relations. In the context of globalization, increasing complexity of international supply chains, and growing external economic risks, the efficiency of entrepreneurial activity largely depends on the transparency, adaptability, and controllability of logistics processes. The study explores the concept of the Supply Chain Digital Twin (SCDT) as an advanced managerial tool for enterprises engaged in international trade, particularly within network retail and globally integrated supply chains. The paper analyzes a digital supply chain architecture based on the SCDT approach across strategic, tactical, and operational levels, emphasizing the role of logistics controlling in international trade operations. The integration of digital twin technologies with the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and predictive analytics enables real-time monitoring, forecasting, and optimization of logistics processes. The findings demonstrate that the application of SCDT and logistics controlling significantly contributes to risk reduction, cost optimization, and service quality improvement for entrepreneurial entities involved in international trade. The proposed approach enhances supply chain resilience and supports informed decision-making in a volatile global business environment.
