This article analyzes the artistic distinctiveness of the works of 21st-century children's author David Williams: in particular, it examines style and language, composition, imagery, ideological and emotional content, and genre originality. Furthermore, it provides a brief overview on the use of linguistic and literary elements, stylistic devices, and the combination of various genre elements. Three selected books of the author are «Demon Dentist,» «The Fing,» «Gangsta Granny».
