This article reflects the concept of human rights and freedoms, their enshrinement in international legal documents, crimes against human rights, and the measures of responsibility applied to them. The recognition of human rights as the highest value and the role of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in ensuring human rights, including the responsibility of state bodies, will be studied. The legal acts of other states on the protection of human rights will also be considered.
