This article analyzes the development of astronomy and mathematics in Samarkand in the 9th–12th centuries, the contribution of representatives of this scientific school to the development of science. The scientific environment formed in Samarkand during the Central Asian Renaissance, the mathematical and astronomical research of scholars, as well as the influence of their scientific heritage on subsequent periods are highlighted.
