This study examines the asymmetric nature of separatism from a political and philosophical perspective. It analyzes the factors contributing to the emergence of separatist movements, including their territorial, ethnic, and social foundations, as well as the imbalance in their relations with central authorities. Particular attention is given to contemporary forms of separatism, its impact on global and regional security, and the political and social processes arising within asymmetric conflict environments.
