Abstract

The article is devoted to analyzing the destructive nature of mass manipulation – that is, the covert and
targeted influence on the consciousness of large groups of people in the interest of the manipulator. The main
features of mass manipulation, its differences from individual influence, and the factors that amplify its
destructiveness are examined. The author identifies levels of destructiveness: the individual level, the group level,
the social level, and the cultural-spiritual level.
